Solid Chemistry Water Treatment Sticks Increase Safety and Reduce CostsAP Tech offers a complete line of solid chemistry water treatment formulations in stick form. Sticks are used to treat water in solid chemistry programs and to compli-ment and boost liquid chemistry programs.

Solid chemistry water treatment sticks provide a safe and convenient method for rapidly achieving correct start-up or main-tenance dosing levels. Sticks are designed to dissolve in water quickly, so it is possible to introduce products rapidly to your wa-ter treatment system.

Sticks are used for initial water treatment system dosing prior to start-up, after any event that results in water treatment chemicals not being administered to the system, after a large amount of make-up water is added to the system, and general maintenance:• Start-up or shutdowns• Loss of pump prime• Dealing with biofouling• Cleanings, Passivation, & Re-Charge

Sticks are a perfect solution if you don’t want to have additional maintenance liquid chemicals onsite for scale and corrosion, or as a compliment for slug dosing, periodic cleanings, or periodic maintenance.

Rather than cranking more liquids in or dumping in more liquids in by hand, solid chemistry stick formulations are very sim-ple and safe to add to a system and rapidly get it boosted.

HOW ARE STICKS ADDED TO A LIQUID PROGRAM?The nice thing with sticks is you don’t need a pump. You’re not transferring liquids from one con-tainer to another or to the point-of-use, you add the stick directly.

or the sump• directly to a side treat filter, like a

pot filter or feeder filer, if the basin or sump isn’t accessible

Scale treatmentAny of our stick products for treat-ing high-scale forming waters can be added to any liquid chemistry water treatment programs. If you lost pump prime or your chemical delivery wasn’t going to arrive until later in the day and you are out of inventory, simply toss in a few sticks and get treatment levels up to where they need to be.

C-PEN dispersantThere are liquid equivalents out there, but often, the water treat-ment provider or end user doesn’t want to have another liquid chem-ical onsite but they were seeing some biofouling or biofilm. Solid chemistry sticks are easy to add to the system to do a quick rapid cleaning.
