EAST TENNESSEE Children's U rv1-lsspital June 10, 2015 I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Christopher Baker to you, as I know anyone who hires him will be exceptionally pleased with his work ethic, his enthusiasm, his candor, his willingness to help others and overall, his outstanding drive to succeed and provide remarkable customer service to all. What can I say about Chris? He is a go-getter, a self-starter and he honestly works to make others feel comfortable in everything he does. I first met Chris when he worked in another department at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. He made every effort to do a remarkable job in a!! duties I witnessed and we developed a great personal and professional connection based on his thoughtfulness and even his eagerness to do his job thoroughly and to the best of his ability. When Chris applied for the position in my office as the Financial Poster/Mail person, I was thrilled as I knew he would make a remarkable asset to our department. He clearly shined in that position as I received numerous compliments on his job performance from many areas in the hospital (not to mention many people contacted me after he left to say that he would so be missed)! And, after turning in his notice, I was very aware of how humble he was, as the gifts and well-wishes he received were numerous and well accepted. He will be thoroughly missed here not only for his stewardship in his job duties, but, as a friend! ln the course of his role here at ETCH, Chris has shown remarkable flexibility in taking on new challenges and also his positive attitude has been helpfu! in taking on any job he was assigned to do. For example, we needed someone to step in to verify our bitling process was ready for the day. Chris didn't really know anything about the billing process but, he was eager and willing to learn and took on the role like a champ! I can honestly say that of all my employees, I never had to go behind him to make sure that he did the job or micro-manage him. He works independently and will ask questions when he needs help. t have enjoyed watching the way he has grown and excelled here at ETCH. To whom it may concern:

! am writing in regards to Chris Baker who has been part of our cash, mai! team at East Tennessee

Children's Hospital since November 2012. Chris was an in-house transfer from another department.

When he first interviewed for the job we talked to him about his impression to other departments. He

would be in all departments and also all Physician offices on campus delivering mail. Many staff withinthe hospital would see him as the Business office and most will never walk into our office. We stated his

impressions would many times set the impression of our department. I must say that Chris has raised

the bar to a new level for this job. He took that very seriously and has been the ideal candidate for this

role. He has dressed very professionally and created strong relationships within the facility. ! have had

numerous compliments about Chris and the job he does. He many times exceeds the expectations of ourcustomers and has been a valued addition to our department. He has been a pleasure to have in our

department. His positive energy and attitude are contagious. He wil! be missed by all. Chris will be a

wonderful addition to any team. He will give it his all and bring pleasure to all who work with him.

Technical skills in any role can be learned. Chris's energy and enthusiasm are part of who you are. That is

something you cannot teach. Chris is a pleasure and ! can confidently say you will be happy you have

chosen him to work with you. We will never be able to really replace Chris. We will find someone to do

the job but no one to really take his place. I wil! say everyone has been impacted by him and that is a

rare trait. I will be happy to speak to anyone for more information regarding Chris. Feel free to contact
