    From 0 to 0.2 m material is sandy, gravely silt of light brownish in colour. Gravels are of igneous and metamorphic origin. From 0.2 to the bottom

    of the pit, the material is boulders and gravels alongwith sandy clayey silt. Boulders are of greyish dominantly as well as brownish in colour. They

    are approximately 60 to 70% of total volume of the material in this section. Boulders are rounded to sub rounded and are of igneous and

    metamorphic origin. Boulders are randomly distributed throughout in this section in all the walls.

    Silty sand/sandy silt, little brownish but dominantly greyish in colour is observed from top to 0.35 m. Sand is mostly medium grained and dry. From 0.35 m to 1.43 m, gravels and sub-rounded to rounded, boulders

    alongwith silty sand/sandy silt has been observed. Boulders and gravels are of igneous and metamorphic origin, having different sizes and

    colours. The overall conditions of the pit walls are dry. Biggest boulders observed is of size 0.65x0.45 m approximately.

    Boulders with sandy gravels. Boulders are more than 50% along all the walls of testpit. At left wall a big boulder is present greater than 0.6X1m. Sand is fine to medium grained with coarse concretion. Gravels grain

    size are medium to coarse grained. Over all colour of material is brownish, light greyish. Highly weathered boulders are dominant at base.
