  • China MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by Ministry of Commerce of The Peoples Republic of Chinato further strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries aswell as to develop talents for developing countries. Starting from 2015. MOFCOM Scholarshipmainly sponsors the young and the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue theirpostgraduate degree education in China and entrusts China Scholarship Council to administer theScholarship. I. Supporting categories, duration of scholarship and Instruction language MOFCOM Scholarship supports Masters program for 2-3 years or PhD program for 3-4 years.Scholarship winners must register for English-taught program if such program Is available. Whenonly Chinese-taught program is available, students should take Chinese language trainingcourses for one to two years before moving on to their degree study. Il.     3.2 Networking and cooperation

    Co-operate with and ensure regular contacts, and dialogue withlrelevant stakeholder organizations: non-governmentalbodiesand persons within the TFCAs environment as well as withother relevant projects or institutions in order to enhance andachieve sustainable development of TFCAs, andCommunicate and channel interests and aspirations of thelSADC, and exchange ideas and information for the benefit ofintegrated natural resources management in TFCAs and SADC atlarge.

    The position will is housed at the SADC Secretariat in Gaborone,Botswana under the direct supervision of the Senior Programme Officerfor Natural Resources and Wildlife Management.

    In the conduct of his/her work, the incumbent will further liaise with otherSenior Programme Officers in the FANR Directorate as well as otherDirectorates within the SADC Secretariat Headquarter.

    4.2 Reporting

    The incumbent will report to the Director, FANR through the SeniorProgramme Officer for Natural Resources and Wildlife Management. He orshe shall abide by SADC rules and procedures.
