Bow hunting has been around for a long
time. Early cavemen bow hunted. And
people today bow hunt. As you can see it
hasn’t changed much over the last
thousand years.
There are mainly two types of bow hunting
which I will explain “Bow fishing’ and
normal bow hunting.
Basic bow hunting is where you either sit
in a tree stand and hunt or you stalk your
prey.
Bow fishing can be done two ways. One
way is shooting fish in the water. Which is
where you use special arrows and a
special bow hookup to shoot fish and pull
them up.
The second Kind of bow fishing is kind of
like the first. But instead of shooting them
in the water you drive around making them
jump out the water. And you shoot them
while they are jumping.
In Michigan bow season for deer goes
from October 1st to November 14th. And
December 1st to January 1st. There are
other seasons but deer is the main one.
There are many, many animals you can
hunt with a bow but I'm just going to stick
to The basics. In Michigan you can bow
hunt whitetail
deer, turkey, moose, bear, elk, coyote,
Arrows are the
second most
important thing
in bow hunting
Camo clothing is a must or else your pray
will see you.
