Responsibility instructional model (execution) will support our ability to reach Level 1. Thus, please work with your department's members to continue totune unit assessments and plans.

Bowen's MIKVA Peace and Leadership Council will be trained this week to support afternoon hall sweeps. These students will be allowed to enter class 10minutes late if their teachers provide prior permission and they have at least a B in that course. They will be identified by their BHS Hall Monitor lanyards.Brianna Nkemeh will send an email detailing that information later this week.

We are close to our OFFICIAL Quiet Time start! This means that all students from the chosen 1st period courses have been trained or will be trained thisweek, and QT grading will officially begin this week. Grading will be done via a Google doc using the following ratings: 2 - Compliant with Assigned QTActivity, 1 - Quiet but Not Compliant with Assigned QT Activity, or 0 - Disruptive. Additional details along with the designated incentives for teachers andstudents will be discussed briefly during this week's department meetings.

I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend and look forward to a strong 3rd quarter!
