Behind those walls that won’t come downI’m sure you had more things to sayYou’re upside down and inside out
Cause I’m sure you had more things to sayBut there’s always someone else you blame
Oh just look where it’s got you nowYou tell yourself that it’s okay
But I’m sure you had more things to sayIf the walls in your head come crashing down
Who will be there to lift you up?All we know is the mask and not your faceCause I’m sure you had more things to say
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
You lost herAnd now you're wishing you could
Take back what you did wrongYou lost him
How could he breathe with thePressure that you put on?
How come being proud always feels so wrongWhen you hurt the one you love?
But still you find a way to wonder why
Behind those walls that won’t come downI’m sure you had more things to sayYou’re upside down and inside out
Cause I’m sure you had more things to say
When time passes byYou'll start to see how one word
Could've changed it allThere's so much more than "I"When 5 letters were enough
To prevent this fallHow come saying "sorry" comes so easily
When you've had some time to grieveBut still you find a way to wonder why
Behind those walls that won’t come downI’m sure you had more things to sayYou’re upside down and inside out
Cause I’m sure you had more things to sayBut there’s always someone else you blame
Oh just look where it’s got you nowYou tell yourself that it’s okay
But I’m sure you had more things to say
Behind those wallsI'm so sure
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
You showed him all the best of youBut I’m afraid your best wasn’t good enough
And no, he never wanted youAt least not the way you wanted yourself to be loved
And you feel like you were a mistakeHe’s not worth all those tears that won’t go away
I wish you could see thatStill you try to impress him
But he never will listen
Oh broken angelWere you sad when he crushed all your dreams?
Oh broken angelInside you’re dying cause you can’t believe
And now you’ve grown upWith this notion that you were to blame
And you seem so strong sometimesBut I know that you still feel the same
As that little girl who shined like an angelEven after his lazy heart put you through hell
I wish you could see thatStill you try to impress him
But he never will listen
Oh broken angelWere you sad when he crushed all your dreams?
Oh broken angelInside you’re dying cause you can’t believe
He would leave you aloneAnd leave you so cold
When you were his daughterBut the blood in your veins
As you carry his nameTurns thinner than water
You’re just a broken angel
And I promise that it’s not your faultIt was never your fault
Oh broken angelWere you sad when he crushed all your dreams?
Oh broken angelInside you’re dying cause you can’t believe
He would leave you aloneAnd leave you so cold
When you were his daughterBut the blood in your veins
As you carry his nameTurns thinner than water
You’re just a broken angel
And I promise that it’s not your faultIt was never your fault

It sounds like this is nothing newAnd that it hasn’t been for a while
You wake up on the other sideAnd you strain to force a smileThe fairytale inside your head
Has become your new best friendBut I can assure you
That I’ll be there before the story ends
When I needed a place to hang my heartYou were there to wear it from the start
And with every breath of meYou’ll be the only light I see
I’m racing to the finish lineOf a lifetime that’s barely startedThe peace of mind I left behind
I pray you’ll keep in your perfect gardenYou’re waiting on a minute handIn a countdown that lasts for days
But I’m here to tell youIt won’t be long before I’m here to stay
When I needed a place to hang my heartYou were there to wear it from the start
And with every breath of meYou’ll be the only light I see
The weightlessness and the lack of restAway from you I’m in over my head
Even when it’s dark before the dawnI will feel your grace and carry on
And with every breath of meYou’ll be the only light I see
When I needed a place to hang my heartYou were there to wear it from the start
And with every breath of meYou’ll be the only light I see
Even when it’s dark before the dawnI will feel your grace and carry on
And with every breath of meYou’ll be the only light I see
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
So many nights trying to hide itBut now I stay awake just pleading for more
To think this heart was dividedI’m losing sleep cause I can’t ignore
Feeling your touch all aroundPeacefully hearing the sound
Of silence around usI’m so glad we found us this way
Find me, here in your armsNow I’m wondering where you’ve always been
Blindly, I came to youKnowing you’d breathe new life from within
I can’t get enough of you
I wanna be where you areIn times of need I just want you to stay
I leave a note on your carWhen I can’t find the right words to say
Hearing your voice all aroundThe last place we’re going is down
I’ll blindly followKnowing you’re leading the way
Find me, here in your armsNow I’m wondering where you’ve always been
Blindly, I came to youKnowing you’d breathe new life from within
With you in timeThere’s nothing else
My life stands stillYou are the will that makes me strong
Make me strongIf ever alone in this world I know I’ll always
Find me, here in your armsNow I’m wondering where you’ve always been
Blindly, I came to youKnowing you’d breathe new life from within
Oh and you sleep, here in my armsWhere the world just shuts down for a while
Blindly, you came to meFinding peace and belief in this smile
Find some peace and belief in this smile
I can’t get enough of you
(Music and Lyrics by Fabian Manzano)
If you go nowPlease leave the light on
Just say goodbye now and leaveWith you gone now
You’ve turned the right to wrongIt’s getting hard now to breathe
It goes on and onBut not in my head
This timeWhen the lights die
And there’s nothing left to sayThat’s when you’ll need me
If I break downAnd you see me fading out
I know enough now to make it rightIf I don’t stop
I just keep on waiting upWell I know enough to know
I’ll never make it rightIt goes on and on
But not in my head
This timeWhen the lights die
And there’s nothing left to sayThat’s when you’ll need me
This timeWhen the lights die
And there’s no one else to blameThat’s when you’ll need me
And nowWith the lights turned down
And your eyes half openI know you don’t see meWhen I’m standing outIf you just turn around
And keep your eyes wide openI know you might feel me here
I know you don’t see meYou don’t feel me
But keep your eyes wide openYour eyes wide open
This timeWhen the lights die
And there’s nothing left to sayThat’s when you’ll need me
This timeWhen the lights die
And there’s no one else to blameThat’s when you’ll need me
I know you don’t see meYou don’t feel me
But keep your eyes wide openYour eyes wide open
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
There you are with your perfect wayYou’ve got that little shine in your eyesTo hear one word would make my dayBut there’s no room for me in your life
Oh you’ve got me down on my kneesOh and in my mind I can see
How perfect everything could beBut you won’t give us a try
But if I could change your mindHow would you want me?
Would you say you need me?Cause I need you now
I try to move on but your perfect wayHas got this little child asking why
But this world keeps spinningAs my heart stops beatingIs there still no room inside?
Oh you’ve got me down on my kneesOh and in my mind I can see
How perfect everything could beBut you won’t give us a try
But if I could change your mindHow would you want me?
Would you say you need me?Cause I need you now

To get back timeYou force too muchIt’s always too much
But not enough
So much for the here and nowIt’s all the same now
I wish everything would changeYou can’t believe a word he says
You can’t believe
I know you’ve been lostYou’ve said it before
Say it again nowI know you’ve been lostYou’re begging for more
And it’s not enough
It’s all that you knowAnd really believe in
He gives you a reasonTo take it slow
So much for the here and nowIt’s all the same now
I wish everything would changeYou can’t believe a word he says
You can’t believe
(I know you’ve been lost)(You’re begging for more)
Well I know that you’ve been lost(I know you’ve been lost)(You’re begging for more)
Why you beg and plead for more(I know you’ve been lost)(You’re begging for more)
Well I know that you’ve been lost(I know you’ve been lost)
And it’s not enoughAnd it’s never gonna be
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
It wasn’t always this feelingPut out the world for a tear in your eye
Oh God I’m over here kneelingIt seems we’re fighting for truth with a lie
I’m falling over the edge with youYou’re falling over the edge with me
Sometimes I wish it was easyTo leave the ones that we love behind
Oh God just help me believe itStill so much harder to say goodbye
I’m falling over the edge with youYou’re falling over the edge with me
Oh can you hear me now?
You’ve got me standing here pleadingWon’t you please help me keep this alive
I’m falling over the edge with youYou’re falling over the edge with me
Oh can you hear me now?
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
It’s feeling like our time’s run outBut the hourglass just flipped itself over again
The sun is slowly sinking downBut on the other side a new day waits to begin
If you dare to believe in lifeYou might realize that there’s no time for talking
Or just wait around while the innocent die
No moreWe’re gonna lose everything
If we believe all the liesI may fall but I swear that I’ll help you believe
No moreThis world is running on empty
And there’s no reason whyYou may fall but I know that you’ll help me believe
If I could change your mind(Please tell me I’m not the only one)
(Please help me believe I’m not the only one)If I could change your mind
But if I could change your mindHow would you want me?
Would you say you need me?Cause I need you now
And if I could change your mindHow would you hold me?
Would you stay foreverOr just leave me here to drown?
If I could change your mind(Change your mind)
I know you’ve been lostYou’ve said it before
Say it again nowI know you’ve been lostYou’re begging for more
And it’s not enough
I know you’ve been lostYou’ve said it before
Say it again nowI know you’ve been lostYou’re begging for more

(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro and Daniel Manzano)
You’re ashamed about all your fears and doubtsAnd how I hurt you
Can you make it back from the aftermathAnd how I left you?
Nobody wants to be alone with the fear of letting goIf you could hear me say “It’s gonna be ok”
Would you be ok?
We’ve been in the dark for way too longBut when we turn around we see a light shine through the haze
So forget about who was wrongCause I’ve never been more ready to turn this page
If you swear you believe in lifeEmbrace forgiveness cause it’s all that I’m asking
Or keep holding out while the innocent die
No moreWe’re gonna lose everything
If we believe all the liesI may fall but I swear that I’ll help you believe
No moreThis world is running on empty
And there’s no reason whyYou may fall but I know that you’ll help me believe
No moreWe’re gonna lose everything
If we believe all the liesYou may fall but I swear that I’ll help you believeYou may fall but I swear that I’ll help you believe
I may fall but I swear that I’ll help you believe
If you swear you believe in lifeNo more
We’re gonna lose everythingOh I said no more
We’re so quick to lose everything
And though I’ve gone awayI still see what you’re going through
It kills me everydayTo know I killed what meant most to you
So when you pass my graveLeave a rose for what might have been
But know that it’s okTo shed your fears and find love again
For better or worse you’re the oneI never thought I’d hurt
Looking back on these dreamsIf nothing is what it seems
Know that you’ll wake up to better things
And though I’ve gone awayI still see what you’re going through
It kills me everydayTo know I killed what meant most to you
So when you pass my graveLeave a rose for what might have been
But know that it’s okTo shed your fears and find love again
I hear you say“I don’t know how and I don’t know why”
But there will come one dayWhen I will tell you all the things inside
Just know there’s someone above here to help you
And though I’ve gone awayI still see what you’re going through
It kills me everydayTo know I killed what meant most to you
So when you pass my graveLeave a rose for what might have been
But know that it’s okTo shed your fears and find love again
I’m sorry I broke youBut there was nothing that you could doOh I never thought it would end this wayAnd now there’s nothing that we can say
But goodbyeAll we have left is goodbye
(Music and Lyrics by Alejandro Manzano)
I wasn’t there the moment you first learned to breatheBut I’m on my way
I wasn’t there the moment you got off your kneesBut I’m on my way
Lay downAnd come alive in all you’ve found
All you’re meant to beFor now
We’ll wait until the morning lightAnd close our eyes to seeJust close your eyes to see
A tear must have formed in my eyeWhen you had your first kiss
But I’m on my waySo leave a space deep inside
For everything I’ll missCause I’m on my way
Lay downAnd come alive in all you’ve found
All you’re meant to beFor now
We’ll wait until the morning lightAnd close our eyes to seeJust close your eyes to see
When you feel no saving graceI’m on my way
And when you’re bound to second placeI’m on my way
So don’t believe it’s all in vainCause I’m on my way
The light at the end is worth the painCause I’m on my way
I’ll be there the moment you come out in whiteCause I’m on my way
(Music by Daniel and Alejandro ManzanoLyrics by Daniel Manzano)
The cars pass by outsideFrom one sign to the next
She tries to listen, tries to carePretending he knows best
She’s afraid of what she’s doneNot knowing what it is
She prays for something, prays for his sinsSomeday she’ll find rest
But the time is never rightNo it’s never right
To step outside her lifeTo find what’s been lostShe’ll sleep on it tonight
A voice she left behindTells her that there’s time
She bears the burden, blames her own sinHopes she’ll change her mind
The pain that never hidesA reflection from inside
She conceals the message, buries her headTells herself she’s fine
But her eyes, they say goodbyeNo they never lie
The windows to her lifeTo find what’s been lostShe’ll sleep on it tonight
Oh she’ll sleep on this tonight
She feels alive, without a reasonLove, pain, tonight, she finally listensShe comes alive, without a reason
Love, faith, tonight, she finally listens

1. DaylightWe always wanted a way to introduce people to this album, without necessarily forcing a certain message on them—a song that would get them ready and give them a sense of what was coming and building. And as this song developed, it just felt right. Early on we knew we were ending the album with “Tonight,” and so the album had a proper ending, but still needed a proper beginning. With that in mind, we tried to make everything come full circle with this song, so that when you finish the album it feels as if it’s brought you back to where you started … like a certain re-birth. Collectively, we feel this is one of the most organic songs on the album and was certainly one of the most memorable to record together.Boyce Avenue
2. More Things To SayThis song is about keeping your emotions bottled up when you should have said what was on your mind and in your heart. Living in regret. All too often it can get the best of us, but if you've ever felt the relief of telling someone how you truly feel, you know it's the best way. It’s not always easy, but just step back, take a deep breath, and let it out … Just remember, there is no right or wrong, there is just right now.Alejandro
3. Broken AngelI’ve had the privilege of becoming close friends with some amazing/fascinating young women, who have gone through so much. This song began as just a concept a few years ago, not much more than a song title. But as I met more and more of these “broken angels,” they helped me turn it into a song. Not everyone will have experienced what the lyrics touch on exactly, but those who have will know it all too well and hopefully will have, in this song, something that is truly about them and their story. Though I am proud of every song I’ve ever written, this is the one I hope people remember me for. Even if only a certain group of people connects with it, I hope they know that I tried my best to capture a fraction of their story in 5 minutes, which is never enough time. Thank you for inspiring me.Alejandro
4. Every BreathI think at some point we’ve all found ourselves alone and separated from friends, family, or loved ones. In those times, we all have our own ways of coping. What gets me through is believing that the story will have a happy ending. This song was inspired by the one person that my happy ending has always been built around. It’s about being separated from the people you love most in life, but knowing that, in the end, they’ll always be there with you. Daniel
5. Find MeMy brothers and I had been playing music together all through our teens, and I remember really wanting our first original song to be meaningful and memorable. So I waited a few years until I felt truly ready. Ever since we finished it, I’ve always been incredibly proud to tell people that “Find Me” is the first song I ever wrote.Alejandro
6. When The Lights DieI wrote this song in Orlando one night while we were tracking "Every Breath". I stepped away for a moment when the guys were recording their parts, and I found myself at a vintage wurlitzer piano in the studio's live room. The first thing that I played ended up becoming the opening riff to this song. And the words, "If you go now, please leave the light on," instantly came to mind, because that was the last thing that my wife said to me before I had to leave her at home in Sarasota, a couple days prior. Life on the road can be tough on a relationship, and I hope she knows that her support keeps me going.Fabian
7. Change Your MindI was in a "Music Literature" class in college, and I remember seeing this girl across the room. She had this look that really spoke to me. So, I took out a sheet of paper and wrote down my thoughts. Nothing really came of it until about a year later, when, one night, in a little over 2 hrs, I wrote this song from start to finish. It’s still one of the most spontaneous songs I’ve ever written. Alejandro

8. Not EnoughThis song was written at a time in my life when a lot of my close friends seemed to be stuck in failing relationships. They tried so hard to make things right, but deep down I think they knew it was all wrong. If it’s right then it should feel right. I'm just so glad that they are all happy now!Fabian
9. Hear Me NowFor me this song has become one of our live show anthems. I can’t think about it without thinking about my brothers next to me on stage and our wonderful fans singing and clapping along to the beat of the kick drum. From Daniel’s bass line between every phrase in the verses, to Fabian’s soaring electric riff, to the cascading toms in the chorus, it all puts me back on stage in front of every city/crowd we’ve been fortunate enough to play for, and every city/crowd that will bless us in the future. It is truly one of those natural highs to walk out on stage to this song and know we are right where we belong and that, even if just for that one night, in that one city, everyone in the room is where they belong.Alejandro
10. Dare To BelieveThis is really a call-to-action song. If you’ve ever found yourself in a moment in your life where you have to make a life-altering decision or you just feel like you’ve hit rock bottom and deep inside you know something has to change … this song is about that pivotal moment where you try your best to turn it all around for the better. You might fail or you might succeed, but that’s irrelevant. What’s important is that you dared to try. I dedicate this song to a wonderful fan of ours who has been battling cancer for so many years and continues to show us all what it isto truly “believe.”Alejandro
11. BrianeI’ll never forget the day I found out that my friend’s wife and college sweetheart had unexpectedly taken her life. The details of what he went through have always stayed with me. Alejandro and I talked about it quite a bit at that time, and we always knew there was a song inside of us that would someday surface. This song is what we think she would have told him in the days and months following what happened, if she could have. Her name was Briane. Daniel
12. On My WayThis song just kind of poured out of me one night. I had just finished watching a movie in my apartment and I was feeling super inspired, so I picked up an acoustic guitar and in a few hours it was done. Part of the reason I think it came together so quickly was because it is definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written. It’s for the girl I will spend the rest of my life with, but haven’t met yet….Alejandro
13. TonightFor me, this song is particularly memorable, because it’s the first song Alejandro and I ever co-wrote. A lot of the lyrics came to me while I was in the car just thinking one day. But the rest came together over a few brainstorm sessions—the two of us, a moleskine, and an acoustic guitar and bass, in our apartments at UF. This song is for those out there feeling trapped in their own lives or circumstances; don’t forget, there’s always time for a change.Daniel
