M+W – Constructing a best in class recruitment solution M+W is a leading global engineering and construction partner for technology- based clients across a range of markets including Electronics, Nuclear, Waste, Energy and Pharmaceutical. M+W required a recruitment supplier to deliver across a range of sectors including Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Finance and HR. Previously to source new talent, M+W used numerous recruitment agencies, which brought inefficiencies. This included inconsistent process, differing terms of business and multiple stakeholders which resulted in talented individuals slipping through the net. In August 2013, BPS won a tender process to be appointed M+W’s sole recruitment supplier for the UK. We then invested significant time working with M+W to understand their market, competitors and crucially, the type of talent they were looking to attract. To achieve this we had our employees based on site to get a true feel for M+W and how we can help their resourcing challenges. Our solution provided a single point of contact for all resourcing needs, a standardised process and consolidated invoicing system. Therefore improving time to hire, and generating significant cost savings. As part of our solution we developed an online contactor management system, providing contractors with the functionality to supply timesheets online and hiring managers to approve, thus significantly improving the efficiency of the timesheeting process. Being a recruitment specialist, a key element of our solution was to introduce forward planning. We sat down with all key stakeholders to understand their resourcing requirements and any future needs. Forward planning allowed consistent supply to be achieved and the agility to efficiently match supply with business need. We are committed to being brand advocates thus promoting M+W’s brand to all stakeholders within the recruitment process. We believe in providing a holistic solution, not just the pure resourcing but a full end to end service offering. To further refine our service we utilise our market leading business intelligence reporting, to enhance time, cost and quality of hire. This intelligence is vital in helping us to continuously evolve our service, and deliver better results.
