WHAT IS THE BRAC FUTURE PLAN? S
W
The BRAC Future Plan is a model for delivering change and growth in regional athletics over the next 10 years.
The Plan is based on a strategic approach to organising, understanding and interpreting the various factors and issues that are affecting BRAC as an organisation, and athletics as a participation sport, at the regional level.
It locates and maps out all the moving parts within BRAC’s operating environment, and repositions them into a coherent plan that BRAC can control and implement.
The Plan provides important insight into the issues that matter most to the local community of athletes and clubs, and gives the Board of Management the clarity, focus and confidence to act on change.
The Plan will lift and shift BRAC from its current direction and set it on the path to its future direction. It will do this by making sustainable, long-term changes that improve the whole organisation, and by focusing the organisation on delivering a strong, positive athletics experience.
OUR NEW VISION
OUR MISSION
Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre is to cater for families and individuals by promoting participation
and the enjoyment of athletics. The centre actively supports and encourages athletes at all levels
and ages to achieve their individual goals. The Ballarat Regional Athletic Centre will work to assist
in the promotion of athletics in Ballarat and welcomes the interest of parents and friends to help
assist the centre in its athletic and social pursuits.
Ballarat Regional Athletics Centre will become a leading community-based organisation that
provides opportunities for competition, participation and development in a safe, welcoming and
social environment.
