Directions For Brain DrainBy Beryle Nathan and Cindy B. Seide

The Activity Director or leader names the topic for the Brain Drain session. Each member of the group takes a turn contributing to the list. Go around the room as many times as possible, as time allows, before going on to another topic. Be sure to stress imagination, especially when MONEY IS NO OBJECT!

See how many slogans and brands your participants can recall. The leader reads a well-known phrase for a product and then waits for the player(s) to fill in the blank or identify the brand/product. Can be played with anyone an-swering or by giving each member of the group a turn. Be sure to leave time for laughs and reminiscing!

Directions For State-ographyBy Mary Kay Klim

Test your knowledge of the states. There are three clues to help you figure out what state you’re in. The leader should read one clue at a time, giving the participant(s) time to guess. See how many clues they need before getting it right. States are listed alphabetically for easy reference. Mix them up for a more challenging activity!
