“Full Size Appearing 10" Sprint Center” Quick Change With 8" Ring And PinionWINK5270-LT-S

Full size Quick Change is fitted with a new 8" diameter ring gear that is 20% smaller and 20% lighter than tradi-tional 10" gears, providing significant reductions in rotating and unsprung weight for improved acceleration and deceleration. Center kit retrofits into all existing full size Quick Change rears and is fully compatible with standard axle tubes, side bells and Quick Change gears. Although all cars can benefit from this new design, lower horsepower cars can expect even more gain. Quick Change is less axle tubes and includes Posi-Lock assembly (WIN8104), heat treated lower shaft (WIN8106), 4.11 ring and pinion (WIN8111-8S), aluminum spool (WIN8115), Sprint Center "shorty" gear (WIN8133-8S), heavy duty cover (WIN8137) and 6-rib machined side bells (WIN8186P).

The only crossed axis gear assem-bly where the worm and side gears are completely encased in a heat treated, 4140 steel center housing. Unique design offers several important benefits including putting an end to housing flex, the ability to maintain close tolerances under load, and increased traction during virtually any track conditions. As the dif-ferential rotates, oil is scooped, automatically lubricating gears. Billet, 7075-T6 aluminum end caps are used to reduce weight to 21 lbs., 3 ozs. Requires Mobil 1 70W-90 gear oil.Note: Axle length may vary when changing from a spool to a differential.

Power Rack And Pinion UnitsWoodward’s style GC power

rack and pinion units are com- plete with cylinder and rod bracket installed. The direct-mount cylinder bolts to the rack housing with four symmetrical cap screws, and the rack shaft and piston rod are securely locked together to en-sure parallel movement. No swivels or spherical rod ends are used for a solid, rigid connection with instantaneous response to the hydraulic assist. Units in stock have 5/8"-18 threaded rack eyes and the part number suffix determines the length. Shaft telescopes during a head-on crash. The splined lower shaft is retained by an internal spring clip and may be removed by exerting a sharp pull - like that used to remove a front-drive axle. XP1000 16-Volt AGM Battery And HF Intellicharger Combo Kit XSPXP1000CK1

Combo kit includes a XP1000 16-volt AGM bat-tery and High Frequency Intellicharger battery charger. Compact battery charger, which has a maxi-mum charging rate of 15 amps, meets the specific charge voltage and amperage requirements for XS Power 16-volt AGM batteries. Charger will not work on 12- or 14-volt batteries.
