Established in 1865 as the Clitheroe Shirting Company in Lancashire, Trutex has designed and produced superior clothing for generations. Renowned worldwide for quality, value and innovation in schoolwear, we use our technical expertise to create uniform that meets today’s demanding standards of everyday wear. “Made to Last” quality is central to our values, providing uniform for thousands of schools and students across Great Britain and to over 25 countries across the world.

We’ve learnt a thing or two about making uniform through our 150-year heritage. Our uniform won’t fade, get bobbly or lose its shape, so once one child grows out of it, you could pass on to a sibling, friend or second-hand uniform shop. All Trutex schoolwear,
from stock or bespoke is machine washable, highly durable and made to last. The highest standards of quality are maintained by sourcing fabrics from reputable mills and hand
selecting factories that achieve our high manufacturing standards. All products go through a rigorous sampling process to achieve our ‘Trutex Quality Seal’.

supplying factories around the world have excellent working conditions in a clean,

Re-vive logoRe-vive 100% recycled outer blazer
fabric. Trutex polyester twill blazers are manufactured using our Re-vive blazer
fabric. This innovative fabric is made from certified 100% recycled post
consumer polyester yarns to create our quality garments.

the Diana Award Anti-Bullying programme to give young people across the UK the skills, confidence and

2.4 Logo Size & SpaceTo maximise the presence of the logos, they need space around them. The empty space around the logo should be at least 150% of the width of the logo. The exclusion zone prevents any graphic elements interfering with their integrity and legibility, such as text, other logos or background imagery which visually distracts from the logo. To ensure the logo maintains its visual impact, it should be no smaller than 35mm wide portrait, or 45mm wide landscape.

2.5 Logo Guidelines - Do’sThe visual simplicity of each Trutex logo means that measures must be taken to ensure they stand out whenever they are used. All the Trutex Logos can appear in Black and White where production constrains such as mono press advertising or laser printer output demands.

2.6 Logo Guidelines - Don’tsIn order to maintain integrity and promote brand consistency, here are some examples of what not to do with all Trutex logos:
A photographic image must not visually interfere with any of the logos and their
exclusion zones
Don’t add any shadows to any of the logos
Don’t change the orientation of the words or symbols in any of the logos
Never stretch or distort the logos in anyway

The Trutex visual identity uses weights Light, Regular, Italic, Bold, Black. The consistent use of these weights ensures a unique look and feel. Typographic effects such as emboldening, condensing, expanding, slanting or outlining must not be used. The minimum point size for body text in all literature is 8pt and information and captions should have a minimum point size of 6.5pt. Terms & conditions and other small print should be no smaller than 5.5pt. All printed literature should be clear and uncluttered.

To maximise the presence of the logos, they need space around them. The empty space around the logo should be at least 150% of the width of the logo. The exclusion zone prevents any graphic elements interfering with their integrity and legibility, such as text, other logos or background imagery which visually distracts from the logo. To ensure the logo maintains its visual impact, it should be no smaller than 22mm wide portrait, or 50mm wide landscape.

2.5 Logo Guidelines - Do’s The visual simplicity of each AKOA logo means that measures must be taken to ensure they stand out whenever they are used. All the AKOA Logos can appear in Black and White where production constrains such as mono press advertising or laser printer output demands.

4. TypographyThe AKOA visual identity uses various weights from the Futura PT and Signika family. The consistent use of these weights ensures a unique look and feel. Typographic effects such as emboldening, condensing, expanding, slanting or outlining must not be used. The minimum point size for body text in all literature is 7pt and information and captions should have a minimum point size of 6.5pt. Terms & conditions and other small print should be no smaller than 5.5pt. All printed literature should be clear and uncluttered.
