She started her career at the News Ltd National Bureau in the press gallery, Parliament House, Canberra, before moving the Daily Telegraph where she had numerous roles including more than 5 years as the editor of Sydney Confidential. During her editorship, Woman’s Day has remained the nation’s number one selling weekly magazine. In 2018 she also took on Bauer’s top-selling weekly titles, NW and OK! magazines, heading up Bauer’s Women’s Celebrity Entertainment Category, a key pillar of Bauer’s Australian business. MELISSA FIELDASSOCIATE EDITOR For more than 20 years, Melissa has worked in both the UK and Australia as an in-demand freelance celebrity, entertainment, real life and lifestyle journalist.
