In the Technical Sessions of the International seminar, a number of papers were presented by experts and eminent speakers from various fields related to wheat based industries. Assessments made by studies and research, and pragmatic evaluation of ground realities threw new light on actual situations and what can be done at micro level to push progress. These recommendations were circulated to all important stake holders in the Government and institutions working on wheat, soon after the International Seminar. Several comments were received. We are particularly grateful to Dr. V. Prakash, Director, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore for his response.
