The HeroWalter White (aka Heisenberg) is the hero of Breaking Bad. He is an over qualified high school chemistry teacher that is diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and doesn’t have the money to get the treatment he needs, and in the worst case scenario his family wont have the money for college and healthcare etc. So Walter turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine to cover all the costs.

The HelperWhen Walter is in need of money he joins a ride along with his brother-in-law and finds the lab of Jesse Pinkman, seeing how easily he made money. Jesse is an ex-student of Walter’s. Armed with Walter’s near perfectly pure meth and Jesse’s selling knowledge and connections they make a good team, ultimately making a lot of money together.

The VillainHank SchraderHank is Walter’s brother-in-law and also a DEA agent. Hank is leading the investigation of the methamphetamine cook “Heisenberg” unaware that the drug kingpin is also his brother-in-law.

Other Drug Kingpins are also Villains, anybody else that is producing meth is competition, of which will always be a threat to Walter and Jesse. People like Tuco Salamanca, he is a drug crazed dealer with an anger problem, and had beaten to death people in front of Walter and Jesse, so they feared for their lives and had to get away from this psychopath as soon as possible

The False HeroGustavo Fring is the false hero because he first provides Walter and Jesse with a multi million dollar lab to cook high quality meth in high quantities, offering three million dollars for three months of Walter’s time. With Gus also protecting him against the cartel. However, as the three months draws to a close Gus promises to the cartel that they will be free to kill Walter as soon as he finishes his cooking. Gus also ordered his dealers to kill Thomas, the eleven-year-old brother of Jesse’s girlfriend Andrea.

The DonorSaul GoodmanSaul is the donor because he helps Walter and Jesse score big with the Meth they are selling. Saul puts them in contact with Gustavo Fring who, although turns out to be bad, helps Walter with large amounts of money. Saul also helps with advice on them money laundering through the car wash. Ultimately Walter and Jesse would not be able to have cooked to such a high success and made the money seem legal without Saul.

The Dispatcher

The dispatcher in this series is the cancer itself, the cancer is what sets Walter on this journey of making money. If Walter had never been diagnosed with cancer he would have never needed the money for his treatment, thus would have never started cooking Meth.

The Princess

Walter’s son (Walter Jr.) and his daughter (Holly) are the princess’. These two are the part of the main reason Walter is cooking Meth, they are the motivation to keep going and not to give up, the ultimate prize.
