1.2 Scope

The scope of this report as required by the Alliance Brief, Appendix 26, Clause 26.2 which includes:

2 Design Criteria

2.1 Project Design Criteria

The Project Works and Temporary Works have been designed to meet the standards of the RTA and relevant Australian Standards. These include RTA Technical Direction and Bridge Policy Circulars.

2.1.1 Engineering Standards

The requirements of the following relevant standards have been incorporated into the design of XXXXELEMENTXXXX:

• Relevant Australian Standards; British Standards; American Standards.

2.1.2 Order of Precedence

Unless otherwise stated, the following order of precedence has been applied in the design:

• any specific provisions in the Alliance Brief;

• RTA publications;

• Austroads;

• Australian Standards;

• Standards Australia handbooks; and

• Other reference documents and standards.

2.2 Project Specific Requirements

Project specific requirements are contained in the following documents:

• EIS

Compliance to Technical Directions, Policy Circulars. Refer to Design Criteria Report.

• List Design Lots which are related to this design lot. Any related design lot to be addressed in section 6 in further detail.
