Galvanic Action:Treatment

During the Treatment cycle, the Galvanic Instrument and the Treatment Gel are positively charged.These positive charges repel each other, helping to deliver the beneficial ingredients to the skin. The positively charged instrument attracts the negatively charged impurities drawing them out of the skin.

Continuing Benefits

You can see in this slide that at 6 hours after galvanic treatment, Active “A” is entering the galvanic-treated skin (Galvanic Treatment) more than skin that has not had a galvanic treatment (No Treatment).

The control “No Treatment” (blue bar) is skin that has not had galvanic treatment.

At 24 hours there is some Active “A” entering the control skin (blue bar). However, skin that has had galvanic treatment allows much more Active “A” to enter the skin (red bar).

At time zero, the galvanic treatment has been concluded. The lower chamber of the Franz unit is sampled at time zero, 6 hours and 24 hours. During this time duration, no current is applied.
