or trade exhibitor at the 27th NSW Local Government Aboriginal Network
(LGAN) Conference. The conference is hosted this year by Port Macquarie
–Hastings Council and will be held at the Glasshouse from Wednesday 5 to
Friday 7 August 2015. The theme for the 2015 Conference is: “Bringing us
together strong on Birpai Country.”
Contributing as a sponsor or exhibitor at the Conference provides a
wonderful opportunity for your organisation to engage with influential leaders
and decision –makers in the Aboriginal Local Government networks across
the state. The packages outlined in this document offer a variety of exposure
levels at the Conference. The opportunity also exists to meet with delegates

About the NSW Local Government Aboriginal NetworkThe NSW Local Government Aboriginal Network (LGAN) was
established in 1988 as an information exchange and forum to
discuss issues relate to Aboriginal communities, businesses and
the wider community. The network is comprised of Aboriginal
council staff who work in local government and Aboriginal
people that have been elected as Councillors.
Background to the conferenceThe Conference has been held annually for the past 27 years.
The conference attracts approximately 150 – 200 delegates
who work across Local Government and are interested in
developing and enhancing Aboriginal lifestyle, culture, health,
enterprise, education and employment opportunities. The
conference provides a forum for delegates to share, learn and
inspire each other.
The conference is the one time each year that Aboriginal issues,
interests and achievements at a local community level are a
focal point to a state-wide forum.
About Port MacquarieGreater Port Macquarie is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the North Coast of NSW, only 260km north of Newcastle, 420km from Sydney and 510km from Brisbane.
Geography
Greater Port Macquarie extends from the mouth of the Hastings and Camden Haven Rivers west to the Great Dividing Range, with a coastline of 84kms. The total area of the region is 3693 sqkms. The topography of the area is very diverse including sand dunes, coastal wetlands, flood plains, forests and mountain regions.
Climate
The area enjoys the best climate in Australia, with the average temperature ranging from 7°C to 27°C.

The main towns within the Greater Port Macquarie region are Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Laurieton, North Haven, Dunbogan, Comboyne, Kendall, Kew, Bonny Hills and Lake Cathie.

SPONSORSHIP TERMSFollowing are explanations of the variouselements contained within these sponsorship packages.
Complimentary Full Conference Registration
‘Full Conference Registration’ includes lunches, morning and afternoon teas, conference program and material, name
badge, conference satchel, Mayoral Welcome and Conference Dinner. Additional company representatives (above
sponsorship entitlement) will be at regular registration rates.
Conference Program
All sponsorship packages include sponsor recognition in the conference program. The program will include a detailed
agenda, information about presenters, sponsors and trade exhibitors, function details. If sponsorship is not confirmed
and payment received in full there is no guarantee that logos will be included. It is the responsibility of the sponsor to
ensure logo’s are sent to the Conference Coordinator well in advance of the design deadline to ensure they are included
(jpeg or eps format).
Company Signage
The type of company signage to be displayed is dependent on the space and physical constraints at the venue. Every
effort will be made to accommodate sponsors’ requests.
Trade Display
Trade display includes a covered trestle table, plus space for pop-up style company promotional banner/ display.
Power is available for display sited with prior notice. All trade exhibitors agree to abide by the ‘Terms and Conditions’
for exhibitors which will be forwarded with confirmation and will have a of $20M in Public Liability insurance.
Satchel Insert
Quantity: minimum of 150 pieces (one A4 or DL size flyer, brochure or similar). Other promotional material or product
samples subject to confirmation (e.g. pens, writing pads with company logo). Details of shipping information to be
provided.
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking form has been received for Sponsorship, any cancellation must be advised in writing. Confirmed
sponsorships that are cancelled more than 60 days from the conference will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the total
sponsorship amount will be payable. Sponsorships cancelled within 60 days of the conference will not be eligible for
refunds and all committed funds due.
To confirm sponsorship: Please complete the ‘Sponsorship Confirmation Agreement’ and email to
[email protected] A tax invoice will then be prepared and forwarded for your processing, as well
as a letter confirming sponsorship level and benefits.
