If this stoppage recure with the spring at maximum weight, theregulator)ever.ehould be turncd to the i'safe" position, the coveropened,aud the bearinge and working parts well oiled.

If tbe 6;unagajn fails similarly, the lock should be removecl foreramination aud replacedby the spareone.
