INTRODUCTION
CO. MO. SUD was established in 1993 as a small, sub-contracting steel
fabrication firm, supplying all companies involved in the construction of
Brindisi’s power station and the expansion of the petrol-chemical plant.
It has developed as a components supplier for a number of important
clients and has strengthened its experience in the maintenance of main
producers existing plant in the surrounding area.
The firm has a very flexible organization, which allows it to manage a
wide range of customers’ requirements in relatively short time periods,
applying competitive prices as well as satisfying all quality assurance
parameters .
In order to follow its strategies, CO. MO. SUD has decided to increase
and consolidate its presence in the suppling area as well as keeping its
maintenance activity.
The firm is pursuing the above strategy with a whole series of
investments intended to increase its own production capacity by enlarging
its logistic base, buying new equipments and training its staff.
The business’s technical structure enables us to get works “up and
running”, together with other specialized firms operating in all civil and
industrial areas.
The continuous monitoring of a project’s progress as well as the
technical software support and correct project management, enable us to
offer our on-time-delivery guarantee.
A part of the firm’s organization is an independent ‘Quality check’
section, which guarantees a proper handmade products manufacture,
following specifications and given tolerances to ISO 9001 VISION quality
assurance.
ACTUAL PRODUCTION BUILDINGS
Main building: 2.500 sq.m. covered area (currently being widened to
4.000 sq.m.); 24.000 sq.m. uncovered area located in Brindisi’s Industrial
Zone.
Secondary building: 1.500 sq.m. covered area; 3.000 sq.m. uncovered
area used for industrial painting, located in Brindisi’s Industrial Zone.
