Nowadays, several patients being referred to dental officers for early dental assessment have underlying medical problems including cancer.

This programme aims to provide exposure to the dental and medical personnel regarding the didactic approach to handle these cases and providing the optimum care for our patients.

This programme will be held for one (1) day and hope to attract many dental and medical officers, dental therapists and supporting dental staffs within the Northern region and also across the nation.

To explain the importance of giving a thorough dental treatment to oncology patients.

To facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the participants and speakers that have vast knowledge in managing and treating oncology patients.

To help dental officers and supporting staffs in identifying, stabilizing or prevention of oral infections without delaying the cancer treatment.

To help dental officers and supporting staffs to communicate efficiently with oncology unit regarding the oral health status, treatment planning and patient’s treatment schedule.
