TerrainHopper design and manufacture exciting electrically powered off road wheelchair and scooters with distinctive looks and extreme off-road capabilities. TerrainHopper uses state of the art technology and aesthetically pleasing designs and offer bespoke adaptations.

One of TerrainHopper’s special features is the unique patented suspension system. This makes your trip a comfortable ride over the most undulating surfaces; such as rocks, deep mud, dry sand, snow, steps or kerbs. With a ground clearance of 250mm some people have called it a “mini Land Rover”. Those who have spinal injuries are amazed at how gentle the suspension is when traversing rocks or going up and down kerbs.

Take a look at our videos on You Tube and see our products in action by searching for “TerrainHopper” online.

The Overlander 4Z has the same specifications and options as the Overlander 4 but has the added advantage of 2 separate electrical systems, one for the front motors and another for the rear. This has several benefits; increased power for users over 16 stone/102kg* and the assurance of a back up system should one fail.

The Overlander 4Z is suitable for all users, but especially for those whose weight is over 16 stone/102kg and below 26 stone/159kg)*.

We also offer the ability to change from manual steering to joystick control or vice versa. This is unique and is not available on any other product. The advantages are:

• For those who wish to use manual steering but may lack the stamina or strength to do the entire journey manually can change over to joystick control.

• When faced with difficult terrain, the joystick can take out all the hard work of maneuvering, then changing back to manual when the terrain gets easier.

• The joystick can be operated by someone standing beside the TerrainHopper to assist or take over from the user if it is safe to do so.
