Nursing and care of overweight or adipose patients often is connected to increased treatment risk

and high effort for the nursing staff.

Overweight patients – with a weight of 150 kg and more – are often not the exception in nursing

work. This brings special challenges for nursing staff as well, since standard nursing beds or aids

often do not have enough load capacity.

With a load capacity of up to 500 kg and the many adjustment options of a “normal” nursing bed,

Viscount permits perfect positioning and freedom of movement for heavy persons. With its stable

construction, it is ready for any demands of everyday nursing work.

The heavy load bed has an electrically adjustable back, thigh and lower leg

rest and can be adjusted from 40 - 80 cm in height.

The Viscount trend bed has a Trendelenburg function (lowering of the head,raising the foot end) and Anti-trendelenburg (raising the head end, loweringthe foot end) with a reassuringly stable construction. It has all thestandard functions of a nursing bed and can be individually adjusted inheight between 40 and 80 cm. Ideal for everyday nursing of adipose andoverweight persons.

With its exit at the foot end, the Viscount heavy load bed simplifies getting

into and out of the nursing bed. The many other adjustment options

support the nursing staff and family performing nursing tasks especially

with different types of patient nursing, particularly facilitating in daily

personal care for the entire body. The options for perfect positioning and

movement of the patient permit comfortable sitting and raising positions.
