MBATo succeed in globally competitive markets, companies must demon-strate operational excellence and please their current customers, butthat is not enough. They must also cultivate new opportunities thathave the potential to bring breakthrough value to the market and there-fore whole new platforms of growth for the firm. The Lally MBA pro-gram focuses on the strategic use of technological innovation toaccomplish these twin objectives. Students develop expertise in creat-ing, experimenting with and executing new business models whosecompetitive advantage is technological innovation. As well, studentsapply state-of-the-art technological innovation to solve complex deci-sions. We use an experiential learning approach to provide students theopportunity to apply the latest business theories and techniques to real-world organizational settings. MBA students can specialize in one of sixconcentrations. Available in two formats: 1-year, 45 credits or 2-year, 60credits.

M.S. in Business AnalyticsThe M.S. in Business Analytics prepares students with the skills to under-stand, analyze, and integrate data in business functions with special em-phasis on “big data.” The program offers foundational business conceptswith skills in analytical and statistical modeling and data management.Students use software platforms and real-world data sets in their coursesto gain practical experience. Academic partnerships with IBM and SASwill allow students to access a suite of software tools from both of thesefirms. Format: Full-time, 1-year, 30 credits.

M.S. in Quantitative Finance & Risk Analytics (QFRA)The M.S. in Quantitative Finance & Risk Analytics provides students withthe knowledge and skills to respond to the demands and challenges thatcharacterize the fast-changing, competitive world of finance. Studentsmaster cutting-edge financial theory and advanced quantitative and ana-lytical techniques that are key to success in the financial industry. Studentsengage in empirical research and modeling, using professional databasesand software applications. Format: Full-time, 1-year, 30 credits.

M.S. in ManagementThe M.S. in Management is for students who wish to gain an exposureto the basics of business. This is an excellent option for students withtechnical backgrounds who desire an understanding of the businesscontext in which they will be applying their technical skills. The LallyM.S. Management is a perfect fit for students who prefer to study com-panies and organizations who compete on the basis of technologicaladvantage. Six core courses provide the foundational knowledge. Stu-dents can then elect to concentration in one of six focus areas. Format:Full-time, 1-year, 30 credits.

M.S. in Supply Chain ManagementThe M.S. in Supply Chain Management prepares students to design andmanage supply chains in manufacturing and service industries. In thisprogram, students understand the perspectives and skills to design sup-ply chains, develop strategies to optimize supply chain operations, iden-tify opportunities to leverage information technology, and createeffective demand fulfillment capabilities in firms. This program includesconcepts from industrial marketing, operations management, and infor-mation systems. The curriculum includes real-world project-basedcourses. Format: Full-time, 1-year, 30 credits.

M.S. in Technology Commercialization & Entrepreneurship (TC&E)For students interested in new business creation on the basis of novel sci-ence and advanced technologies, the M.S. in TC&E provides the skills,tools, principles and experiences necessary to get started in this emergingprofession. Students develop business models, intellectual propertystrategies and organizational savvy to bring value to the market in theform of new products, processes, services and businesses, either as start-ups or new growth platforms for established companies. The M.S. TC&Eprogram is a unique combination of three modules: 1) a business/man-agement foundation, 2) a specialized module in law, and 3) in-depthstudy in either a) technology and innovation management, b) a chosenarea of science and technology, or c) public policy associated with emerg-ing technology. Format: Full-time, 1-year, 30 credits.

Ph.D. in ManagementThe Doctor of Philosophy program in management trains students to become scholars who are highly skilled in conducting research andteaching, and for careers where high levels of research skills and analyticalcapabilities are required. This is delivered through formal courses, semi-nars, independent studies, examinations, written papers, workshops, pre-sentations and the dissertation. The program usually requires a minimum of four years to complete. Format: Full-time, 4+ years.

Founded in 1963, the Kenneth T. and Thelma P. Lally School of Management

develops technologically savvy, entrepreneurial business leaders who can ini-

tiate and guide innovation for commercial success. The Lally School builds on
