2 Active Monopolar Outputs

A special universaladapter (REF 34-9590) is optionally availablefor connecting multiple accessories with 2 to8mm plugs.

Ideal for Cardio-Surgery

“Floating type” insulated at high/ lowfrequencies and protected against theuse of defibrillator and 5 preset cardioprograms (#75-79) make this unit anideal choice for cardio-surgery.

100 Memory Programs

Stored programs can be selected sim-ply by the push of one button. Presetprograms are available for cardio-surgery, neuro-surgery, general andlaparoscopic surgery, flexible endos-copy or rigid monopolar endoscopyunder liquid (TUR) and for bipolar onlyuse. The unit always remembers the

last settings it was switched off with.

perfectly suitable for all surgical needs including TUR(monopolar resection under liquid) and vaporisation. Also available is a special A. ENDO mode for blend cut withalternate phases of pure cut and coagulation in flexibleendoscopy and A. PURE and A. BLEND modes combinedwith a constant voltage system, that automatically adjusts

the powers by keeping the electric arc constant. This provi-

des for a very delicate way of cutting and minimal superficial

necrosis.

Neutral Electrode Alarm

When the contact surface of a dualsplit-type neutral electrode plate decreases to 50%, output powers willbe limited to max. 200W. The powerwill be totally cut off and alarm will beactivated in case contact decreasesfurther to an insufficient level or incase that the cable gets disconnectedor broken, for maximum safety.

HF Leakage Monitoring

with complete self-test, hardware/software diagnosis and totalfunction and safety monitoring by two 32 bit microprocessors. Dynamic auto-adjustment of output powers for best performancewhile using the lowest possible powers and reducing damagingside effects on target points (i.e. carbonization or tissue sticking).
