There are quite a few things you can do from here. It depends on what you are interested in finding I guess. This is where you want to go if you want to

search ALL of a particular kind of document. If you would like to search Assignment of Mortgages (AOMs), you can. If you want to search FinalJudgments or Foreclosures you can! Just select the document type, put in a begin & end date then and select search records.

Here we have selected foreclosures from the drop down menu & a date range of January 1st

to January 5th

of this year (2010). Matching records show

below. You can then click on the file and see the recorded documents. NOTE: we are on page one of 10+ with a total of more than 2,400 matchingrecords from January 1st to January the 5th of this year (2010).

LETS TAKE A PEEK AT MR. & MRS. RAMOS FILE. There are 5 pages to the document. Keep in mind while youre looking through these

documents, if you come across a MTG or AOMbook/page # you caninput the numbers directly into the area on the upper left hand side of the pageunder Document Navigation or you can scroll through some or all of the 2,400+ foreclosure cases by clicking next. Lets write down the case

number and scroll through this FJ to see if we can find a legal description. This will allow us to look at a copy of the recorded mortgage (and

assignments, if any) to see if the names match that of the plaintiff. Then well look at the online docket at the clerk of courts website.

ON PAGE 3 OF THE DOCUMENT WE SEE THAT THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION SAYS LOT 34, BLOCK 3, etc. etc.

Now lets do an O.R. (Official Record) search for Ms. Rosa Ramos and see if we can find a copy of the recorded mortgage. Enter last name, first thenselect your date range. Under Document Type enter M, then hit search. Note: there are 141 matches. It would take quite a while to scour through

all of those mortgages to validate the legal descriptions & find our match. Remember above on the FJ the bottom of page 3 lists the property address.

Lets look at the parcel records for the address on the Broward Property Appraisers website to see if they list a BK/PG # for the mortgage.

Now select search by address (or you could use owners name). NOTE: since there were a lot of matches under the last name Ramos, we are going tosearch by address.

IT BRINGS YOU TO THE VESTING DEED OF M/M RAMOS IN THE O.R. LOOK-UP. NOW CLICK NEXT DOCUMENT & THEIRMORTGAGE SHOULD APPEAR! Mortgage instruments are usually recorded directly after the vesting deed in that order.

HERE IT IS MTG RECORDED 8/28/03 Between M/M Ramos & WAMU (BOOK 35923/PAGE 945). I wonder who is insured as lender on the

Title Insurance Policy?

So the MTG (security instrument) is given to WAMU but the Plaintiffis DEUTSCHE BANK. How do you connect the dot? You would need to look

at the court file in this case (more on that in a minute) to see how the note was endorsed. Lets finish going through some of the pages in the mortgage and

see what we can find. You can enter a page number or scroll through the pages

On page 2 you see applicable law, electronic funds transfer, miscellaneous proceeds, mortgage insurance, RESPA, Transfer of Rights, etc.
