Located approximately 11 miles southeast of Traverse City, the area features more than 6 miles of trails through upland and lowland forests. Enjoy access to the Boardman River for paddling and fishing while watching the restoration of the bottomlands transform after the removal of Brown Bridge Dam in 2012. No deer hunting inside core area. All other hunting by PERMIT ONLY from the City Clerk’s office at 231.922.4480.
