Roles and missions of the CESER Contributes to the administration of the region beside the
Regional council and beside his President.
Represent the lifeblood of the regional civil society.
Product of the notices (court referrals) and the contributions (auto-court referrals).
Concern an informed, expert and forward-looking look the economic, social and environmental subjects of regional interest.
Flash of lightning the regional decision-makers on the subjects of general interest and plays a role of interface within the regional ecosystem.

The Board, the authority of governance of the CESER, consists, for this new
mandate, of 36 members.
For the preparation of the contributions(taxes) and opinion(notice) which fall to him(her), the CESER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is establishes(constitutes) of 10 committees (commissions), between which are distributed files(cases) following the nature of their object :
1. Economic activities, employment and innovation 2. Environment and energy transition 3. Orientation, education, training and career4. Territories - Transport, infrastructures and Digital technology5. Solidarities, social inclusion and health6. Higher education, Search and innovation7. Youth, intergenerational and popular sport, culture, education 8. International cooperations - Europe and structural fund 9. As well as 2 sections : a Forward-looking section and a section Industry. These sections associate personalities outside the CESER for its works ; and 3 permanent working groups of which one dedicated to the assessment of public policies.

For the CESER Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, the project has to allow to identify of best practice concerning the impact of the digital technology on the labor market, the training and the economic development. This best practice will have to bediffused with the regional actors and to modify their practices.
