Learning | Assessment | Skills Recognition

Coaching Arrangements To be accepted into the Advanced Diploma you will have already completed an entry interview. Because this is a “fast track” course completed by assessment only, you must be able to show us, with some guidance and coaching, that you have the required knowledge and skills, you are in a workplace and you can draw on this part knowledge and experience to put together the evidence to prove it. You will be provided with professional support and advice. Students will work with the trainer and coach to plan the evidence and the assessment arrangements in detail, including what units must be completed to achieve their qualification.

Assessment All assessments are competency based. The type of assessment tasks in the Advanced Diploma “Fast track” mode include knowledge based questions , portfolio of evidence and third party reports from employers or other subject and technical experts. To receive a Statement of Attainment for individual units you must successfully provide all the required evidence agreed on between you and your coach.

To obtain the qualification Advanced Diploma of Management (BSB60407) you must successfully complete all 8 units and their accompanying assessments.

Skills Recognition The process of Skills Recognition (Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Recognition of Current Competencies) gives those people with the relevant experience the opportunity to gain formal recognition for their competencies (skills and knowledge) gained through life, work and study, regardless of where, when and how they were achieved. Participants are responsible for gathering evidence that will show they have the required competencies to the standard set out by the industry in the National Competency Standards.

Course Recognition This course meets the national training requirement for Qualification ‘BSB60407 Advanced Diploma of Management’ and all listed Units. On successful completion of all 8 units of competency you are issued a nationally recognised Qualification in Diploma of Management. On successful completion of one or more units of competency you are issued with a Statement of Attainment for the unit/s.
