BT LTE Roam is backed by leading technology and network To provide you with a scalable, state-of-the-art solution for your LTE roaming, BT is working with leading hardware and software vendors to integrate their capabilities with BT's global network and expertise. We employ a fully flexed Diameter Routing Agent (DRA), Diameter Edge Agent (DEA), Diameter gateway interworking function (IWF) and Diameter load balancing - on a common platform with centralised management. LTE Roam is combining BT solutions with Genband / F5 industry leading hardware and software supporting intelligent, dynamic and context-aware routing. It covers Protocol support for RADIUS, SS7, LDAP, SQL, HTTP, GTP, JMS and more than 50 variants of Diameter normalisation. Message transformation engine and high performance protocol translation is embedded as well as high security failover protection, accuracy in messaging, network overload and signalling spike protection. This provides you with increased security through selective message processing with screening, DoS protection, AVP screening, multi-node and topology hiding.
