BTP floor improvements Rear frames, cannons, major bogies, minor bogies are all sandblasted before every weld area is MPI or UT tested. Rear frame floor removed so that the entire tube surface area can be MPI and UT tested. BTP’s reengineered floor support system is installed into the rear frame. Main floor support system is then machined to insure even floor contact for maximising weight distribution. New superior floor material is then installed Main frames are stress relieved to insure a relaxed component ready to start a new service life Every hole on every component is reclaimed to new specifications Frames are bored in our in-house CNC milling facility to insure hole tolerances and indexing for maximum pin life Grease adjusters are re-tubed, new sleeves and pistons are modified with our own BTP enhancements which has proven to increase adjuster life. Grease adjusters are then load tested prior to installation Genuine Caterpillar bolts, cartridge pins, cannon & pivot shaft seals are used All minor bogies are test fitted with a dummy shaft to ensure precise alignment ensuring maximum pin life.
