Teddy Bears PicnicWednesday was a very busy day. Purple Class held a Teddy Bears Picnic and invited all the parents into their classroom and playground to participate in Teddy Bears Picnic Activities. It was great to see lots of parents and carers there, helping their children to make biscuits and complete an obstacle course related to the going on a bear hunt book, to name just a few of the activities.

NIA Community Dance JamOn Saturday June 23, there was the community dance jam for NIA. NIA is a fun, expressive, energising dance blending Martial Arts and healing movements. NIA has donated to our school the money raised from the event. Tuesday afternoon, the organisers dropped off a cheque for $500! A massive thanks for all those that helped to raise this amount for our school.

Volunteers at Budawang SchoolVolunteers enable our students to maximise their engagement in lots of activities including classwork and communitiy programes. We have a range of volunteers ranging from 16 to 80 years of age. We have volunteers that stay for an hour or for the whole day. Our students love when they have volunteers to come and help them with activities, it just brightens their day. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our school on 44551491 and we will be happy to include you in the program. We would ensure that volunteers work with the same group of people each week so that they can develop relationships with the staff and students. We provide training to those who need it, and we understand that people might not be able to come every week. We also help volunteers through the Working with Children Checking process.
