PROFILECOMPANY
The demand for air services in Nepal grew following the restoration of multi-party democracy in 1990. The economic liberalization laid the foundation for new investments resulting in the growth of the service sector and infrastructure development. Amidst this rapidly changing socio-economic condition, former Supreme Court Justice Surendra Bahadur Basnet identified a new opportunity for investment in transportation and subsequently founded Buddha Air in 1997.
