WHO’S WHO IN THE CASTDANNY CARABALLO (Ritchie Valens, WWOL DJ). is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. In 2012, Danny earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Kent State University. He was most recently seen at Cortland Repertory Theatre as Ritchie Valens in BUDDY! THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY. He made his New York City debut in ANGELINA BALLERINA’S VERY MERRY HOLIDAY SHOW performing for children last holiday season.LISA CARLSON (Vi Petty), is ecstatic to be on tour with Buddy! WHO’S WHO IN THE CASTROMAIN RACHLINE (Hayrider, Murray Deutch) was born and raised in France. He trained as a dancer at the Ailey School. He recently performed in Cats as Mr. Mistoffelees, Anything Goes, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Thoroughly Modern Millie (OPTC), A Chorus Line, Hairspray (C&S company), and Off Off B’way in Jack’s Back (T. Schreiber). Romain is thrilled to be part of the Buddy Holly tour!DAVID REED (Mr. Marvin Madison) is very pleased to be a part of the BUDDY Company. He just recently finished his first national tour with the Song and Dance variety company Re-Creation, where he performed in every VA Medical Center and State Veterans home in the country, extending his hand to the men and women who afforded us our freedom in over 360 shows a year. Before his tour, David also was honored in working for one of the most influential mice in the world as a full time performer at Walt Disney World. His big break performing was in the cast of Showboat at the Little Theater on the Square in Sullivan, Illinois. Thanks friends, family, and Todd.CHRISTOPHER WREN (Lead Hayrider, Clear Lake MC) Originally from Houston, Christopher is a professionally trained actor and musician from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. He has starred in and been featured in numerous stage shows such as Aladdin The 3D Holiday Adventure, and TV programs such as Dates From Hell on Investigation Discovery.ALAN JAMES (Writer/Producer). has written extensively for television, films and theater over a 40-year career since training at London’s world-famous Stratford East Theatre under the theatrical legend Joan Littlewood. Alan wrote and produced the soul musical 125th Street and wrote and produced the musical Jailhouse Rock based on the Elvis Presley film. In 1989, his musical Buddy— The Buddy Holly Story was presented in the West End and ran for 15 years. The U.K. tour of Buddy has run, with the occasional break, for almost 25 years and the show has enjoyed worldwide success, playing Broadway and four U.S. national tours, Canada, Sweden, South Africa, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Holland, Singapore, Finland, Austria and Denmark. Alan was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Musical, and internationally Buddy has received many nominations and awards, including a Tony.STEVE STEINER (Director). Steve serves as Artistic Director of Boebe Productions, Ocean Professional Theatre Company and Jersey Shore Entertainment. He has been an Actor, Director and/or Musical Director for 3 Broadway, 3 Off-Broadway, 2 National Tours and hundreds of Regional Productions (including being an actor/musician in the original Broadway Production of BUDDY). In 2004 Steve began producing shows for casino venues in Atlantic City and Reno, producing more than 25 highly acclaimed productions including 3 National Tours while directing over 100 productions. Steve’s previous 3 productions of BUDDY have been the highest selling productions in each of those 3 theatre’s histories.
