TH School is a network o f independent non-denominational, co-educational schools located in the culturally-rich city of Hanoi. The TH School Chua Boc campus is a day school located in the city center. The Chua Boc campus has an enrollment of 450 national and international students in
grades PreK - 12. The Hoa Loc campus has an enrollment of 100 boarding and 50 day
students in grades 6 - 12. The Hoa Lac campus is located in the suburbs of Hanoi roughly 20 kilometers outside the city center. Both campuses offer English based internationally focused university preparatory educational programs which prepares students as global citizens ready to meet the challenges inherent in an ever changing world.
TH School has been authorized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to implement a student-centered inquiry-based curriculum, which blends a holistic English language-based international educational experience with essential elements of Vietnamese
humanities studies to include literature, history, civics, and geography for native Vietnamese speakers and Vietnamese
language and culture studies for expatriate students. TH School imparts the values and attributes of the IPC and IMYC Learner Profiles in both primary and middle school and has and continues to develop a rigorous bespoke high school curriculum based on the internationally recognized curriculum in order to reach the hearts and minds of our student body as well as equip
them with essential 21st-century skills.
The genesis for TH Schools has come from founder Madam Thái Hương’s vision to create a network of schools in Vietnam that provides students with a world-class international education, state-of-the-art resources, purpose-built modern facilities, and nutritious meals in a nurturing
atmosphere of high expectations, support, and kindness.

TH School has developed a unique program that offers students the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) in Grades 6-8 and a blend of
internationally recognized (IGCSE, A Level) and bespoke curriculum in Grades 9-12. TH students also participate in rigorous and engaging
elective and community service programs.
The curriculum is delivered in English for 80% of the day. The remaining 20% of the day is spent in Vietnamese
Studies.

culture at acquisition level.
AccreditationTH School is accredited by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and is an authorized Cambridge International school.
The School has been awarded “Candidate” status by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and expects to receive full accreditation by the Spring 2022.

Pete holds a BA in Mathematics from the State University of New York and an MA in Educational Leadership from Columbia University. During his 35 years as an educator, Pete has represented the United States as a Fulbright Scholar in the Philippines, taught Mathematics in the USA, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia and served as a school administrator in the USA, Brazil, Italy and Vietnam before joining TH School. Pete is thrilled to join TH School as its first Superintendent and enjoys working with a talented team of Vietnamese and international educators to deliver a high quality educational program which combines the best international and Vietnamese standards.

Yvette joins TH School as an experienced Primary Principal and Head teacher with over 15 years of successful leadership in international schools in Spain, England, Malaysia and most recently Dubai. In Dubai Yvette led a large Primary Depart-ment of over 600 students. At the Piasau School in Malaysia, Yvette took the school to the highest level for quality learning and standards being awarded “Mastering” status through external accreditation, becoming only the second school in the world to achieve this accolade. Yvette holds a BA in European Studies and Spanish, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Loughborough College and the National Professional Qualification in Headship from Manchester University.

Heather Pineda holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin, an M.Ed in Educational Counseling from the University of Texas, an M.Ed and Certification in Educational Leadership from Lamar University and a Doctoral Postgraduate Certificate of Practice in Educational Psychology from the University of Dundee. She is also a United States certified educator in the specialist areas of Bilingual Education, English as a Secondary Language, secondary English and secondary Spanish.
Heather is a practicing counselor and school psychologist and sees the importance of connecting the cognitive, social, emotional and academic aspects of each student’s pathway in order to support student success.
A modern purpose-built campus located in the Chùa Bộc district of central Hanoi is now in its 5th year of operation. The Chua Boc campus currently enrolls approximately 450 day students in grades PreK–12, many of whom are on significant scholarship.
Projected enrollment for PreK–12 will shortly reach full capacity at 700 students. On the Chua Boc campus, we currently have over 65 international educators on staff who are joined by a dedicated team of Vietnamese teaching colleagues. Teachers and students enjoy state-of-the-art facilities.
In August 2018, the second TH School campus opened in Hòa Lạc, located approximately 20 kilometers outside Hanoi’s central business district. The Hòa Lạc campus follows TH School’s philosophy and educational program currently enrolling 150 day and boarding students in grades 6–12. The Campus is purpose-built to support the learning goals of our students.
