Building

There are numerous building materials which can be used to build houses. A few years back the choice the architects had was not that big, and was limited to only two options - pre-fabricated, pre-stressed concrete, or red brick. The detached houses from a few decades ago were built by using the same technology and material - red brick. At first, the clay was dug and rectangular shapes of bricks were formed; then, the bricks were kiln-dried. Even earlier before, people lived in the mud huts made from compressed straw and clay.

However, the earliest known buildings were the Egyptian pyramids. The bricks in the ancient Egypt were made from the Nile's sludge. There weren't many tools we know today; people used stones instead of hammers, sharp saws and wooden cranes and ropes.

. Nowadays, houses and various buildings are built from mortar, breeze-blocks, and roof tiles which are used to cover the roof. However, the most important building material is a concrete used to make a solid foundation. A transport of the building materials is sometimes troublesome, but we can order a transportation company to deliver needed materials. People working there will choose the appropriate machine for the building material which is meant to be delivered, and will make sure the delivery is secured properly so it won't be broken or damaged in any way.

There were no possibilities of that kind in ancient times. Egyptians, for example used ropes, logs and slaves' hands as the means of transport. The building methods developed over the centuries by generations of bricklayers resulted in the higher permanence and better isolation properties.
