BIM enables a virtual information model (with data relating to architecture, engineering, construction, and so on) to be passed between different factions of a project in collaborative fashion. BENEFITS BIM is the future of construction and Windemuller is ahead of the curve. With our use of AutoCAD MEP and Revit software, along with Navisworks, Windemuller has found that BIM is an efficient and effective way for all trades to come together to communicate, solve problems, minimize on-site errors and inaccuracies, and build better projects faster and at less cost. When all members of the construction team work on the same model from early design through completion, changes can be coordinated across the project and the information generated is guaranteed to be of the highest quality. Windemuller also utilizes BIM as a way to identify opportunities to streamline the installation process on site by prefabricating electrical components in house vs. the field. The use of this software makes more information available early on in the collaborative process, allowing prefabrication to begin earlier and be used far more frequently and effectively than ever before. BIM software provides many benefits and uses that are beneficial to both the contractor and customer: - Visualization - Scope Clarification - Trade Coordination - Collision Detection/Avoidance - Improve Productivity - Design Validation - Reduces Rework and Waste - Allows for Offsite Prefabrication - Construction Planning and Monitoring - Labor and Material Savings - Reduces Change Orders to the Customer - Increases Jobsite Safety and Quality

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM)

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of creating a 3-D model of a construction project that all trade contractors can work on together to increase productivity in the design and building stages. BIM enables a virtual information model (with data relating to architecture, engineering, construction, and so on) to be passed between different factions of a project in collaborative fashion.

BENEFITS

BIM is the future of construction and Windemuller is ahead of the curve.

BIM software provides many benefits and uses that are beneficial to both the contractor and customer:

- Visualization- Scope Clarification- Trade Coordination- Collision Detection/Avoidance- Improve Productivity- Design Validation- Reduces Rework and Waste- Allows for Offsite Prefabrication- Construction Planning and Monitoring- Labor and Material Savings- Reduces Change Orders to the Customer- Increases Jobsite Safety and Quality
