B. Approval of Minutes for the January 6,2016 Building Standard Commission Hearing.

Motion: Approve Minutes as written. Motion: Jessen Second: Perkins AU ayes, viva voce

Minutes approved.

Chair asked if any attorney's representing owners were present and one came forward, Chair opened the hearing with Hearings Continued, Item #C.2.4 . After hearing this item the board returned to Initial Hearings, Item #C.l.l. It is left in numerical order for clarification of the minutes.

C. Public Hearings:

1. Initial Hearings:

1) 809 Dearborn St B1k 9 Lots 11 & 12 Acres .3214 Carver Park Motion: Accept Staff Recommendations ~ Repair within 30 days or City will assess a Civil Penalty of $350.00 per day for each day the repairs are not completed. Motion: Jessen Second: Burnell-Smith All ayes, viva voce.

2) 2217 -2221 W Waco Dr Blk 4 Lot 13 Acres 0.564 Van Hall Withdrawn, Pending Notification.

3) 1717 N 32nd St Blk 14 Lot 9 Acres 0.1894 Highland Motion: Accept Staff Recommendations ~ Demolish within 30 days or City will demolish the

structure and assess expenses for the demolition and disposal by filing a lien. Motion : Jessen econd: Burnell- mith AU ayes, viva voce.

2. Hearings Continued:

4) 305 S 13th St Blk 1 Lot2 Acres .876 Acts Addition Motion: Continue the hearing 6 months. Motion : Perkins Discussion continued.

Motion : Perkins 2nd Motion: Accept Staff Recommendations ~ Demolish within 180 days or City will demolish the structure and assess expenses for the demolition and disposal by filing a lien. Motion Approve Staff Recommendations for Section C.2, Item 5. Motion : Perkins Second : Jessen All ayes, viva voce.

Chair closed Section C and opened Section D.

D. Administrative Hearing to Determine Compliance with Building Standards.

6) 3413 James Ave Blk 1 LotIO Acres .166 Joseph Tom Withdrawn, Complied Repaired by Owner.

7) 2413 N 22nd St Blk87 Lot B8 Acres 0.0803 Farwell Hts Motion: Accept Staff Recommendations - Sign Order to Assess a Civil Penalty of $50.00 per day.

Chair closed Section D and opened Section E.

E. Consideration of Collection of Civil Penalties for Properties now in Compliance.

Civil Penalties were considered for Item #E.8 ~ 1310 Tabor St, and #E.9 ~ 2817 S 3rd St, both are now in compliance.

Motion Reduce Civil Penalty Fees to $0.00 for Section E, Items 8 & 9. Motion : Perkins Second : Pendley All ayes, viva voce.

Chair closed Section E and opened Section F.

F. Hearing of Visitors Concerning Building Standard Commission Business Not On the Agenda.

No visitors appeared.

G. Discussion Between the Building Standards Commission and City Council Liaison Regarding Building Standards Commission Activities and Appointments.

There was no City Council Liaison present for the BSC hearing.

Chair closed Section G and Opened Section H. H. Presentation by Staff and discussion with BSC Board Concerning Policies and

Procedures and Code Adoption.

No presentation given.

Chair closed Section H, and asked for a motion to adjourn.
