Subliminal Recruiting

CTSO’s are expanding and some of the events are not being taught in the business department. Find out what other classes your students are taking and allow the other teachers to help. Teachers will view these as lesson plans/activities and appreciate the help.

Other TeachersBusiness Teachers

tIncrease your AP Courses and make sure guidance is aware of your articulation credits, and all other “sellers” in your department to increase your student population.

Guidance

Give teachers the information available for CTSO’s especially the competitive events. Allow them to use them as assignments.

WHAT WORKS FOR YOU?

I always communicate electronically with my students, it has helped tremendously with forms, etc.

Be honest, if you don’t know or missed a deadline inform the students. They will help next time.
