Find:
• Name
• Company
• Position
• Phone number
Step 1In Gmail, click to open a new email.
Step 2Guess their email address.
Companies have set email structures. The most common structures are: • [email protected] - [email protected]
• [email protected] - [email protected]
• [email protected] - [email protected]
Step 3Type your guessed email in to the “To” email field.
Step 4Hover your cursor over the email address.The Rapportive plugin will appear to the right hand side of the email.
Step 5The result....If the Rapportive plugin looks like below then the email address is (probably) incorrect.
No social media accounts are linked to this email address.
Step 6Try againTry new email addresses until the below appears.
Jackpot!The email address is linked to a social media account, therefore is (probably) the correct email address.
Yes but...Answers to the normal “challenges” I face when I tell people this:
No. Occasionally the email address isn’t the correct address and my email gets sent to the wrong person. This happen’s 1 out of 100.
Occasionally it says all email’s I try are wrong - the common reason is that the company has a weird email structure - e.g. [email protected].
