CHILDREN Our well supervised Nursery and Children’s
programs offer a warm and caring atmosphere.
Our “JAMTowne” entrance is in the lobby next to
the coffee bar!
COMMUNION Jesus gave this memorial to remind us of the price
He paid for our sins – death on a cross. Christians
are invited to meditate on God’s love and grace as
they participate.
OFFERING We give out of our love for God to support His
work here on earth. If you are a guest we
welcome you to express your gratitude but do not
feel pressured.
DECISIONS At the end of the service an invitation is extended
and is an opportunity for you to walk forward to
accept Jesus as your Savior, rededicate your life,
transfer your membership or ask for prayer and
spiritual counsel.
BAPTISM Immersion in water pictures the death and burial
of our old life without Jesus and the beginning of
our new life as His follower. It is the moment
when God’s grace unites with our faith providing
forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
The Attic is closed for the Summer! We enjoy providing a place
for 6 -12th grade students to come hang out and have some fun in
a safe environment on most Friday nights during the school year!
We are now closed for the Summer, but will be reopening in the
Fall. If you have interest in volunteering at The Attic, visit The
Hub and complete a student ministry volunteer card.
We are planning an old-fashion hymn sing and
social at Towne South on Sunday evening, July 29
at 6 p.m. and we need your help! We want to
make sure we include as many of your favorites
as possible. So, stop by The Hub today and list
your top three favorite old-time hymns on the
form provided. Also for that evening, we are
asking everyone to bring your favorite dish to
share. It will be a great time of fellowship,

JAMTowne Preschool is hiring!
There is currently an opening for one teacher for our
three-year old preschool class and a teacher assistant for
our two-year old class. Applications for both positions are
available at The Hub. The due date for all applications to
be returned is TODAY!
All women are welcome as a new study
begins in the Ladies' Sunday School Class
TODAY. The books of Levit icus,
Numbers, and Deuteronomy portray the laws,
purposes, and character of God. Through a
study of these books, we can learn how God
blessed and admonished those whom He had chosen to be His representatives to
the rest of the world. They have much to teach us as we strive to be God's people
in the world today. The ladies meet in Classroom 109 to the left of the stage.
Today, we welcome Ronnie J. Woolard as our guest preacher.
Ronnie was the founding minister of the Towne South
congregation in 1988; and he continued in that capacity until the
first full-time minister was hired in 2004. He played a key role in
directing Towne South through the time that he stepped down as
an elder in 2008. Ronnie has served as a member of the MACU
faculty since 1974. He and his wife, Trish, have two children. Tara
is on staff with Team Expansion International Services and Eric is
Associate Minister with the Macedonia Christian Church in Williamston, NC.
Today, Ronnie will have us consider the question—“what are we celebrating?”
Last Sunday, July 1, Joseph Elliott was baptized into
the body of Christ. Please take a moment to greet
him and welcome him to the Towne South family
today when you see him!
