ADVANTAGES
You can find thing…You can talk to Friends, make video calls…You can upload a picture of you, your Friends or your familyYou can play gamesYou can do EVERYTHING YOU WANT
CONSEQUENCES• If you upload a picture, that picture will be ever in the internet, and if you eliminated, it will stay
there, so be careful with the things that you upload.• If you enter in some pages with a virus or something you can give information to people you
wont, or somebody can see you trough the web cam
AND THERE ARE MORE CONSEQUENCES BUT, I WILL EXPLAIN ONE OF IT THAT IS MORE FREQUENT IN OUR AGE.
CYBERBULLYING• I think that a lot of people know what cyber bullying is, but you don’t
know how can it starts or why they do it, or how do you feel.• A lot of people now think that they know all these things, but, if you
don’t suffer it, you won’t know it.
HOW IT STARTS• It can start with a silly thing: you did something that one person
doesn't like, or someone envies you.
EFFECTS OF CYBERBULLYINGIf everyday that you wake up, the first thing you see (in the mobile or the computer) is a message or a photo, that says that you are silly, that nobody loves you and all the people hates you or an insult, you lose the desire to live, and normally that persons:• Use alcohol and drugs • Skip school• Experience in-person bullying• Have lower self-esteem • Have more health problems
STEPS TO FINISHED1. Don’t respond to and don’t forward cyberbullying messages.2. Keep evidence of cyberbullying.(the mesges, the photos, the time)3. Save and print all the photos, emails, and text messages.4. Block the person who is cyberbullying you5. IMPORTANT!!!!don’t hide it, and let people help you, don’t be shy
and tell it to someone
PREVENT CYBERBULLYING• Establish Rules about Technology Use• Guard all the things that the boy or girl does • Ask him/her if something is happening• Ask for the passwords (only used if its necessary)• Ask to “friend” or “follow” your kids on social media sites or ask
another trusted adult to do so.• Explain that you will not take away their computers or cell phones if
they confide in you about a problem they are having.
