Mode of Bullying

• Verbal bullying is bullying that involves insults, derogatory remarks, name calling, and teasing. Also includes texts and instant messaging.

• Physical bullying is bullying that takes the form of physical abuse, such as pushing, shoving, hitting, fighting, spitting, and tripping.

• Gestural bullying is staring or turning away from someone. Intentional ignorance.

Bullying

Bullying is any ongoing physical or verbal mistreatment where there

is an imbalance of power.

It occurs in every school, but it’s the way it’s dealt with that makes the difference.

• How to deal with a bully, victim, or bystander
