BURNETT AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH is seeking part-

time Child Care Providers for the nursery which operates during Sunday worship services. This position will report directly to the Nursery Manager. Child Care Provider responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting and working in collaboration with the Nursery Manager to develop and execute policies and procedures which will enable a safe, clean and comfort able environment for babies and children age five and under.

Providing care of babies and children entrusted to the BABC Nursery*

Providing structured learning activities, rest time, snack time and play time

Cleaning and sanitizing between services items used by and within reach of children

Cleaning and sanitizing the nursery and returning items to appropriate storage at end of work day

Minimal required qualifications for this position are:

Two or more years work experience as a daycare teacher in a licensed daycare, or experience as a child care provider in a structured childcare setting

CPR and First Aid certified

High school diploma or GED Additional preferred qualifications / attributes:

Strong listening and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with parents/guardians

Possess patience and demeanor that inspire children’s willingness to cooperatively engage with care provider and other children

Enjoy caring and working with children

information and drop in the offering basket or at the Welcome

Center.

Our next Pre-Marriage Seminar begins February 21st! Couples planning to be married in 2019 or early 2020 should

register for this Free 7-week course designed to strengthen your

bond and prepare you for your new life as husband and wife.

This seminar will meet each Thursday at 7pm February 21

through April 4 at the church and is led by Rev. Toni Overton,

who holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. This seminar

or similar counseling is a requirement for all couples requesting

Pastor Shull to officiate their wedding. Couples can register for

the seminar on the church website by clicking on the Pre-

Marriage Seminar banner and completing the form.
