Habitat

They live in North America,South America, and Southern Mexico. They live in a nest or in a hollow tree. They love grasslands,rangelands, and deserts.

Living Habits

• The owl loves to eat mice. It prefers to be in hot dry places. It flies and swoops up it’s prey.It can see anything 15 feet down.

Birth and Growth

• When it is a year old it becomes mature.It takes them 3 weeks to have a baby.The Burrowing Owls are able to live at least 9 years in the wild.
