Plan your learning timeThe course lasts 32 weeks, but as a general guide plan to submit your final assessment by week 25. This allows time for marking and resubmissions.

We strongly recommend you set aside around 3–4 hours per week to work through your materials. Your communication at work will help you.

Expect the communications module to take about 20 hours and the assessment (including planning) to take another 20 hours. The other modules take up to 40 hours but you could complete the assessments in 10 hours.

It takes most learners about 20–30 weeks of study to complete this qualification, including time for the assessments. You should make a study plan or timetable your study time around your other commitments. Set sensible goals.

When you enrol you will receive a Learning Guide that includes more specific help on managing your learning time.
