David James-Brown, FBCI David is Vice Chairman of the BCI, a founding director and past Vice President of the Business Continuity Institute (Australasia) Ltd, past BCI Queensland State Representative and he co-founded the Queensland BCI Forum in early 2003. He is a founding director of JBTGlobal Corporate Advisory, a graduate of IT and Commerce and a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute. He has a business management background and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Over the last 20 years he has provided contingency and recovery planning, information audit, security and risk management services to a range of public and private sector organisations globally. These include financial institutions, airlines, logistics, health care providers, transport, governments and telecommunications providers. He has a strong background in event based contingency planning and regulatory initiatives such as those driven by international banking supervisors. He is an accredited Workplace Trainer. David has held executive positions in the Financial and Services sectors with global responsibility for Risk Management, Business Continuity, Compliance, Insurance and Information Technology. He is also a key Business Continuity advisor to a number of federal and state government agencies. David is a regular speaker on business continuity and risk management. He has country specific experience in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Middle East, SE Asia and the Pacific region. Paul Trebilcock, OAM, MBCI Paul is a founding Director of JBTGlobal and has more than 30 years experience in both the public and private sectors. He has held various Executive and operational level appointments with specific responsibilities for business continuity, risk and emergency management, corporate security, counter- terrorism and training. Paul is a key adviser to government and is in demand as a key note speaker. He regularly presents to domestic and international forums on business continuity and risk management related topics. Paul holds a number of formal training qualifications and is an accredited trainer with the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in London. He has been delivering accredited training courses in Australia, the USA, Middle East and Asia-Pacific region since 2004.
