JPCann Associates Ltd is organizing five (5) days' workshop for managers and directors of Micro Finance Institutions in Africa. The workshop will cover key areas that govern the setting up and operation of MFIs. It is aimed at equipping various key decision-makers of MFIs in understanding the various segments in the running and maintaining sustainable MFI institution.

This is a hands-on workshop with various sections which will enable captains of MFIs write a winnable, bankable and sustainable business plans for the next three (3) to five (5) years.

:. Understand and appreciate the business planning process in setting up

a micro finance institutions including detailed environmental analysis that needs to be considered in the operations of MFIs;

. Be able to conduct a comprehensive market analysis of the MFI industry including understanding of potential clients and different segments of the market; products and services needed by targeted group within the MFI industry;

How to properly perform a product portfolio analysis; How to plan the human resource requirement and the operational plan

of the MFI; How to put together a solid financial plan including cash flow projections,

income statement and balance sheet, financing arrangements, etc. Draft the business plan for an MFI incorporating all the above

information's and sectional plans.
