WARLI PAINTING

Vissanji Academy is safe, clean and neat – thanks to the various helpers who diligently work hard towards keeping it so.

Morning and evening the lady ‘conductors’ along with ‘Shashi Uncle’ help children to cross an otherwise traffic ridden road.

At the gate the ‘watchman’ stands tall keeping guard and screening every entry. As you come into the campus the gardener is seen busy removing the weeds, trimming the various plants in the surrounding and watering each of them.

Inside the school building you will see these ‘worker bees’ dusting and mopping the corridors and stairway. Washrooms too are scrubbed and disinfected.

Together these people work as a TEAM making our stay in Vissanji comfortable. Their help is indispensable. Next time you meet them remember to smile and say THANK YOU!

Today’s world is prospering a lot. Each and everyone wants to become a master in his field. There is competition among everyone and so we need to succeed...

Success is not amassing wealth or luxuries but to achieve your goal in life. There are many famous people in this world but only a few of them are successful. Sometimes the first step to success in our life may be a failure but this failure may give us the passion and ambition to achieve. Therefore do not give up in life but keep trying hard to succeed. There may be a lot of obstructions and failures in our path but the really successful, will be the one who would have overcome all this and shown the world that “failure is the way to success and opportunities are the only paths to success”.

Will power, self confidence and trust in yourself will let you pass through everything to achieve success.

For me values, reputation, respect, will power, self confidence, trust and patience are the characteristics of a successful person. These moral characteristics will take you to the top and then people will recognize and know you by your name. So do work very hard in the present, to make your future successful and worthwhile.

Dream big, Earn big!

Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. They lived in the mesozoic era. This era was

divided into three periods. They were the Triassic, Jurassic and the Cretaceous periods. Many types of dinosaurs lived during this era. They were divided into two groups. One group was the meat eaters group and the other was the plant eaters. Some examples of the meat eaters group were Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus, Giganotosaurus and the Torvosaurus. Some examples of the plant eating dinosaurs were the Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Apatosaurus and Plateosaurus. Dinosaur fossils have been found in the U.S.A and the African Jungles. Some museums have preserved these fossils for us to see. Since dinosaurs have become extinct, we will never be able to see them but we can view these fossils in the museum.

A poem taught to our little tiny tots at PVNS, as part of the Xseed syllabus, and an intrinsic part in learning to thank the people who help us. Our 'Helper Didis' help in keeping the class room’s spick and span. They help our children to make the washroom trips to be comfortable and easy. They work hard to keep the washroom hygienic and sparkling clean.

O, my Didi, O my Didi;

I like you, I like you,

Thank you for helping,

hildren’s day is celebrated all over India on the 14th of November - the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood, children and Nehru’s love for children. In Hindi it is known as “Bal Diwas”

Chacha Nehru, as the children fondly called him, loved both children and roses. He often referred to children as little buds in a garden that needed to be carefully and lovingly nurtured as they were the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. He felt that children were

the real strength of the country and the foundation of the society.

Hence “Bal Diwas” is special to every Indian as it is a day set aside to remember the dynamic Panditji and his love for children.
