BUTLER COUNTY 4-H BLACK GOLD SPRING SHOW MEAT GOATS AND SHEEP SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2020 EL DORADO, KANSAS BUTLER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS 1. Butler County 4-H Extension Council and Fair Board are not responsible for any accidents. 2. Show is open to 4-H and FFA members between the age of 7 and 18 as of January 1, 2020. 3. Does and ewes must be born after November 1, 2019. 4. All animals must be owned and shown by the exhibitor. 5. Animals will not be unloaded on the fairgrounds until inspected by the veterinarian. All animals must be free of fungus, contagious or parasitic diseases, infections, and sickness. If an animal fails to pass the inspection, it will result in disqualification to it and all other animals in the trailer. The veterinarian decision is final. 6. Prospect market animals may be either sex. Must have milk teeth and be castrated if male. 7. Exhibitors may brace animals, but all four feet must be on the ground. Show director has the right to disqualify any violators. 8. All market animals will be shown by weight. Breeding does will also be shown by weight. Ewes will be shown by breed but must have a minimum of 3 to make a breed class or will show as AOB. 9. Only one animal per exhibitor when showing in Butler County classes. 10. NO bedding is allowed in the barns. 11. Plan to show from your trailer. A $50 deposit will be required the day of the show if you wish to stall in the barn. The deposit will be returned upon inspection of the designated pen being cleaned. Pre-Entries Due May 22 nd , 2020 Send Pre-Entries to: Butler County Extension Office at 206 N.
